Setelah cukup sukses dan terkenal di Jepang, kini Chavaty dibawa ke Indonesia untuk diperkenalkan kepada masyarakat Indonesia soal menikmati teh dengan cara yang berbeda.

“Teh menjadi turun temurun karena Cha bermula dari sisi timur lalu dibawa ke Barat yang diberi nama Tea. Chavaty ingin membuat teh dengan tingkat dedikasi tinggi layaknya orang Jepang dengan memberikan rasa teh asli yang menyenangkan,” ujar Tamae Ogasarawa selaku brand manager dari Chavaty Indonesia.

Tea latte ini berbeda dengan milktea. Milktea hanya mencampur bubuk teh dengan susu. Namun tea latte ini dibuat dengan merebus daun teh untuk mendapatkan ekstrak tehnya. Setelah itu baru dicampur dengan susu dan direbus bersama.

Selain tea latte, Chavaty juga terkenal dengan scone panggangnya di Jepang. Scone panggang ini cukup nikmat dengan olesan melted butter dan saus kacang gula merah.

Untuk menikmati rasa teh yanng berbeda dari Chavaty di Jakarta, Anda bisa berkunjung ke Plaza Indonesia lantai 5, tepat di samping Lumine Department Store. Di sini tersedia menu yang hanya disajikan untuk masyarakat Indonesia. Seperti Ceylon Tea yang terkenal dari Sri Lanka, Snow Shake, Tiramisu, dan Tea Jelly Latte.

Sebagai rekomendasi, Anda bisa mencicipi tea latte dengan varian houjicha. Tea latte ini memiliki rasa pahit dan manis yang cukup seimbang. Sehingga ketika dinikmati tidak menimbulkan rasa yang berlebihan.

Jika suka dengan rasa pahit, tidak salahnya jika mencicipi snow cream dengan varian houjicha. Es krim lembut ini dibuat dari irisan daun teh hijau panggang yang diolah menjadi es krim dalam mesin. Sehingga akan muncul rasa pahit dan tekstur daun pada es krim ini.

As someone who is passionate about F&B, Allan has been working in the F&B field for more than 9 years. After graduating from college cum laude, Allan worked at RCTI/MNC Group. The discipline, knowledge, and experience that Allan gained while working at one of the biggest TV stations in Indonesia is applied by Allan at Adesco Group.
